I just looked up Coimbra looks incredible 😍 ✨️ what will you gst up to there? Looks to be rich with a lot of history. I hope you enjoy yourself there. Melbournes good, the election was a relief and it bucked the trend of what is happening is other countries. It made us reconsider where we want to live a little, but it’s still all up in the air.

It is a nice place – and amazing to see that the little church beside where you are having coffee is 12th century! I’m just wandering around a bit, then heading back to my hostel to do writing stuff. Later, I want to see if there are any forests I can get into. The election was a relief – yet another unintended Trump consequence! Poland remains nice (though it was a massive head-spin arriving there after Ukraine. Lots of tourists, and things in the sky….), though on the whole, I’m sure you’d miss a few things….

That is incredible! It sounds like the perfect place Coimbra to get inspired and write. Are you writing a book of your travels or more blog posts. I eagerly await the book. Poland feels like western Europe right? I love it there. Things in the sky? What kind of things like hot air balloons and planes? I hope to go somewhere later on in the year. M and I have gotten into snorkeling and so thinking of the Great Barrier Reef while it’s still there. Take care dear friend 😘

Coimbra was nice, and nice hostel too – with good places to sit and work. Unlike here in Lisbon! Te bunkroom is nice enough – but showers with no curtains, no hooks, no shelves, chairs or anything to put your clothes!
Coming into Krakow was a total head-spin. Yes, planes and helicopters in the sky! After seven months and only once seeing a jet contrail high-up, the only other things were Shahed drones going past me on three occasions! Also, rowdy Polish school kids – Ukrainian kids just whisper!!!
But yes, I guess its West Europe.
I hope youre enjoying your new job, and yes, getting to see the reef while its still there, is a good idea.
