When I was in Poland in 2019, I didn’t hesitate to visit the Kolejcowo in Świebodzki Station in Wrocław. This is the largest model railway in Poland, but also a rather amazing depiction of how life in Poland actually looks. Everything, right down to the petrol stations, graffiti, and the shops actually exists in real life in the city of Wrocław and its surrounding towns and villages. I just love Poland and seeing this all in miniature was so charming I decided to make a video about it.
Notice the whimsical, cute and funny stories within the video? Oh gosh! Myself and others totally lost our shit over it. If you ever go to Wrocław, you really must go.
Readers of this blog know that I love tiny stuff. There’s a post about the tiny ASMR cooking sessions on YouTube, a post on tiny building sites, another post on tiny books, and this one on a tiny fantasy world made of vegetables.
The details are incredible. Something else. Can’t quite gauge how small though? Are the people 3-4 cm? Great music too

Don’t know why my comment back to you on this ages ago didn’t go through. I am sorry though Jeremy. The figures are about that big, 3-4 cm and the trams and trains etc are all perfectly to scale, it’s a work of art really! 🎨0

This is immersive enough to fit within your Interesting Things series – love the music, fits so well with how petite the model really is. What a nice moment to visit, eh`?

Thank you so much my friend 💚😽 I’m so glad you enjoyed this. Yeah other people have said that about the music that it fits well to the scenery. I got the free music from Take Tones, they have a lot of quirky free music there in different genres in flac and good quality. I recommend you go to Wroclaw once this whole covid shambles is over, I think you would really love it, great food, beer, absolutely beautiful city! Thank you for reading , take care 😽

Oh you will LOVE this my friend! This has Be Kitschig written all over it 😉👍This is also not that far from you in Berlin, I’m pretty sure you can take the train to Wrocław aka it’s not far. The mini railway town is a cool highlight of this place, also…..there are hundreds of little bronze gnombs everywhere too…they are very cheeky! Some are drunk, some are doing funny cheeky things! I need to dig out some photos of this, but you will be able to see on a Google search too 😽

Wow, this is like 4 hours by train! You’re giving me ideas here … I’ve heard nothing but good things about this city and Poland won’t break the bank. Mmmhh ?????

Ooh there is loads to see and do there! Have written a few things on Wrocław on here, will dig them up for you. Incredible food there and probably loads cheaper than Berlin for accommodation and food. My partner, his family comes from a town near there and so we have gone there a few times, hope to go there again once this covid business is over too 🙂😽
