I suppose you all know by now that I have strong political views. Mostly I keep these to myself but really I had to share this. Although my political views are far from radical. They involve advocating for a government that is elected by the people, working for the people and not for wealthy billionaires.
If a government becomes a shadow of its former self, like it is now then the people have the right to stand up against the emergence of dangerous tyranny and fascism. In fact they are duty-bound to take action to stop it, just as historically millions of other people have done against other fascist regimes.

The unbridled tyrannical grab for power in the US by Musk-Trump-Vance has been met with everyday people’s anger, which is 100% understandable.
People do need to wake up out of their inertia and passive acceptance of their lives. They need to wake up and see how much their lives have shrunk in terms of their personal autonomy to have children (or not), to expect a retirement age pension, to get healthcare, to live and work in a country and hopefully one day get a green card to stay.
I do believe that people need to actively resist and fight back against it all. What is happening in America fills me with anger and rage and I don’t even live in the country. However I have friends there, friends who depend on Medicaid and who will be totally f***d without it. Seeing this kind of rebellion as street art is very powerful and telling because it’s indicative of a broader sense of community anger. However anger when channelled appropriately can be productive, creative and much needed for resistance.
God only knows where it’s all going but hopefully it will resolve itself with minimal violence and bloodshed.
Oh and FUCK Elon Musk! Really and truly he is a total fascist and a piece of shit. And if you bought a Tesla then you should sell it immediately because it will get defaced. All Tesla cars are swasticars.

It’s great to see you writing about your views here. You and the rest of the decent world agree on it and so do I. I hope people will rise up against this bullshit crap these people are creating, metaphorically speaking or something. I don’t want wars or bloodshed in any way. Trump needs to be put into jail, Musk needs to try what it’s like to be poor and unemployed and Vance needs to vanish from politics.

Agree that the world is really messed up and I think I understand a bit of how you feel…It’s overwhelming and so deeply negative. Seeing how people resist and respond though fills me with hope and faith that others are like me and have had enough!
