All the things I’d like to learn more about

A moody stormy sunset with soft yellows and blues over an ocean shore

Which topics would you like to be more informed about?

If only I had the time. It’s ok though, one can only achieve what they can physically and mentally manage during their allotted 4000 weeks.

  • Space and the possibility of life on other planets.
  • Chemistry and physics.
  • Geopolitics and international diplomacy.
  • The US political system and the Australian political system.
  • Animal and environmental law.
  • How to build a house.
  • How to build a self-sufficient fruit and vegetable garden.
  • How to create a magnificent landscaped garden
  • How to make practical things from clay: basins, lamps, bowls, cups. And impractical but beautiful ones: sculptures.
  • How to cut and dye people’s hair in a beautiful way.
  • How to make really good ambient and techno music.
  • How to make and mend my own clothes.
  • How to speak and write Japanese.

What about you what kinds of things would you like to learn more about?

  1. These are all so great! There’s a lot of overlap with my own list. I’m really interesting in self-sufficiency, environmental law, and would love to get better at various crafts. I never learned how to braid or style hair, and that’s something I’d love to learn. I’d love to learn more about European folklore and legends, AI and blockchain protocols, the biochemistry of nutrition and cellular member integrity, cybersecurity supply chain risk management, and quilting.

    1. I love European folklore too but forgot to mention this. Indeed any folk beliefs from anywhere I love learning about and collecting the proverbs and sayings from different cultures is very enjoyable. I forgot to mention quilting too hehe…we have loads in common that’s cool 😎

    1. Hi dear friend. These are beautiful sounding languages I would love to learn them too. Good luck with doing this. I know what you mean about books on the shelf.

I hope they whisper to you in a nice way telling you to go and read them hehe. I’ve recently moved to ebooks on an ebook reader which is sort of nice and convient too. Happy reading dear Aladin 😊 πŸ“–

  2. Oh, there are so many things but at the moment my mind is blank. I do like the things you mentioned and I can agree with them. More programming knowledge is always good too. I wish I knew more complex stuff and that I had a brain that easily could use it too.

    1. Thanks for the reply my dear. More programming knowledge would be nice, I’d like to know about that too. I know what you mean about having the brain for certain things, I’ve never really had an affinity for maths and coding. However I truly believe its possible to learn things if you really love something enough and want to keep practicing with it. Its exciting what it’s possible to learn…just wish I had time to learn it all

  4. Interesting to see that once you find what you like, it is difficult to spend time on anything else. We find ourselves in a rut of trying to become an expert in what we are interested in because not everyone is so you are best suited to focus in on it to get ahead. I definitely live in this where I focus my attention on what will make me more desirable in my field and set other interests aside. When I do find time, I would like to dive deep into European premodern history. Get to know more about the fall of Rome and what came out of it on a deeper level. I like to think there will be more time for this later! Thanks for spurring this reflection!

    1. I really admire that kind of drive and focus Tyler well done. That you focus on specific topics related to your career is very telling about how dedicated you are to it and that you have energy to spare for it after work in the same area says that it’s your passion. European premodern history is also very fascinating! It’s good to meet you on here 😊
