Wellington Walks

Over the summer (which is Christmas and New Year in New Zealand) we were walking nearly every day over the hills and to the beach. Here’s a record of some of these walks. It is a pretty place for nature, hills and beaches Wellington. Although it is not a good idea to swim in the ocean because of the sewage going in there in many places. Still, we found a lot of days of tranquility and epic cats with big personalities.

    1. Is that what she looks like….I can’t remember…I do remember she was cautious of people but yet still gave me a snuggle, she is such a special puss. I’m glad to hear she is still kicking around as she was quite old right? I hope you are doing well Nancy, big hugs my friend 🤗

      1. My Sunday.. I’ve only just tweeted this reply on twitter: “I’m envious! the local vintage machinery club up the road is maintaining old tractors this afternoon. Driving ancient tractors, breaking down, fixing up – clanging, clanking, backfiring, banging, yelling. Fixing ‘Samson’ and ‘Silver King’, etc. Oh for peace and quiet!”. ~We did however walk up to a colchicum field (autumn crocus) just on the edge of town and they’re looking really pretty now 🙂
