While New Zealand looks to the general public for suggestions for our country’s new flag, the entire world got a taster for a proposed Entire Earth Flag at the same time.
Twitter was all aflurry (a word? it is now) with people’s helpful and dodgy suggestions. So before I show you an aesthetically-pleasing design for Planet Earth’s Flag – I’ll show you the people’s heartfelt recommendations for the Kiwi flag. There is going to be a referrendum in March 2016 for the Kiwi one, so we all get to select the right one then.
As for the Earth’s flag, well the jury is still out on that one! In fact it’s actually simply the design project of one very talented human, Oskar Pernefeldt.
